DX Expedition since 12/16/2001 until 01/10/2002

I plan to make 6m DX expedition in december 2001 from Ilha do Governador which is near international airport.
My conditions will be there IC-706 + 5 elements beam.I will only work random qsos.

Expedition Results :

Few qsos due to heavy TVI problems with TV Globo on Channel III.
I have made few qsos but 6 meters is working very well in Brazil.
I have listened to two JA stations but didn't made qso because of stationnary antenna.
The antenna was beamed to central America.
I have listened to XE1KK beacon this day.

I have often made qso with West Indies (FG,FM,WP4,TI), report was very good
only with 10W because of high SWR (2/1) of my yagi antenna.
I have made few qsos with europe but opening time was too late.
I have made qso with EA4,5,7,8 CT1,3 with strong report, best qrb was 9000 km.

NEW DX Expedition since 08/15/2003 until 09/15/2003

I plan to make 6m and 10m DX expedition in august 2003 from Ilha do Governador
which is suburb of Rio near international airport, locator is GG87xx.
This time I will carry a light duty rotator to give us a chance when qso opportunities
will come.

I will be qrv with my friend Dom HB9HLI in the Rio area.
We will be qrv in mobile if TVI conditions are too bad in the city.
Main problem in TV Globo on Channel 3 in the RJ area when people are watching for
TV Novelas.

My conditions will be there IC-706 + 5 elements F9FT 10 dBi beam.
We will try to be as much qrv as possible.
